June 4, 2010: Online real estate pioneer RentInMakati.com has included office space for rent in its listings of available properties. The thriving realty website envisions this section to partner with its residential property section.
Customers and real estate professionals can access new office space offerings with the click of a button. Services include search capability for units to rent or to purchase. Searches can also be filtered to include units located in buildings with different features such as central air conditioning, backup generator availability, internet installation, and other categories.
In addition, real estate professionals and unit owners can post available office space units through its facility for submitting various listings. After approval, the company posts a complete detailed listing, including photos and important details for which clients search most often.
The Company’s Origins
RentInMakati.com is an online service specializing in real estate sales and rentals in the city of Makati, an area which includes the Central Business District of the Philippines. The city houses, among other businesses, the Philippine Stock exchange and various commercial establishments.
In November of 2009, Paz Bentulan-Dowd, a real estate broker licensed to practice in the Philippines, launched RentInMakati.com with a vision to provide individuals and businesses with an online database of available property. The company’s partnership with various customers multiplied since the first listing was posted in January 2010.
The Company’s Vision
The start-up website, which also includes apartment and home rentals and sales, is currently on its seventh month of operations and is looking forward to bigger growth as it approaches its eighth month. With over 100 different active listings, its involvement in the office space rental business is expected to lead to new growth and consumer interest.
