Property management software announced today the release of its direct billing accounts office module. The module allows hotels using the management software system to tracking corporate account billings and aging. According to the company’s co-founder, Thomas Lyle, it’s unique dashboard gives the hotel manager quick view on the health of the business.
Many think of hotels and their leisure business but there are many properties that rely on corporate travelers. These people stay days, weeks, even months at time at a site while on business at a location. While a fantastic deal for the lodging property, a system is needed to manage the hotel accounting side of the deal. Typically, this is done in conjunction with accounting software but as hotel management software systems mature this is done entirely within the property management system and less reliance on the accounting software.
“We believe the hotel management software system is the core of the hotel operation” Co-founder Thomas Lyle said. Tying the accounting operations to the property management check-in and checkout system was a natural progression for us.”
Property management software for hotels have been in limited release over the summer and have received very positive feedback. We see that lodging properties of all types will be able to take advantage of this new feature.
