Property Management Company – Real Property Management, Inc. (RPM), an Associa company, recently demonstrated their care and compassion for their community by assisting 12 Ohio families whose homes fell victim to fire damage.
“I am extremely proud of the RPM team members who donated their time and efforts to provide these families with much needed household items, clothing and more than $20,000 in monetary gifts,” said RPM President and CEO Sandi Crnko. “This is a terribly difficult situation for these families, but we are happy we were able to help them begin to repair their homes and lives.”
On June 13, 2012, a tragic fire at the Traditions at Highbluff community displaced six families, claiming their homes and all of their belongings, and affected six additional families by destroying their garages and personal belongings. Michelle Lowe and Lacy Martin of RPM quickly took initiative to coordinate a donation drive within the local community and were able to gather household items, clothing and monetary gifts from friends, neighbors, several local churches, vendors and Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of the property management company of Associa, who made an $11,000 donation.
The morning of July 6, 2012, seven RPM employees gathered at the clubhouse to distribute donations to families. One homeowner who received donations said the generosity put his faith back in humanity knowing that the community did this and didn’t even need to.
