August 10, 2010 — Belvoir Sheffield, the leading letting agent in Sheffield has been accredited by the National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS) for its defined standards of customer service, willingness to adopt necessary insurances and first-rate independent complaints procedures. They are one of the first in the city to receive the Lettings Licence.
The Scheme is based on a four-part assessment framework, which aims to establish minimum levels of service to all bona fide firms and residential social landlords providing lettings and management services in the private rented sector, and to monitor their compliance annually thereafter to oversee complaints handling by member firms.
Those who fail to make the grade have their accreditation withdrawn or suspended, giving confidence to property owners and tenants dealing with a member of the Scheme.
