Happiest People in the World Pay the Most Taxes
If a new study is correct, some of the most taxed people in the world are also its happiest. Northern Europeans are the happiest people on the planet, according to a new survey. Denmark leads the way, with the Danes paying about two-thirds of their income in taxes. Finland and the Netherlands ranked second and third.
Simply put, you pay for what you get. In the US, we’re never really sure what we get in return, besides the world’s biggest military. Because healthcare and other social services aren’t built into our system, we have to worry more about paying for things ourselves. Worrying doesn’t make us happy
