Residential Real Estate Market Foreign Buyers

The falling real estate prices in US make it very attractive to international buyers. Investors from countries with volatile political climates are attracted to US for its stability and safety. . Many countries, which are tightening the flow of currency that their citizens can move out of the country, are attracted to invest in US. Other individuals want to diversify by investing in US besides their home countries.

Some of the countries whose economies were not impacted by the worldwide financial crisis are scouting US markets for investments. As the wealth is increasing in countries like China, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea, they are spreading out to purchase real estate investments in US. Most of these investors are attracted to multifamily residential rental properties. Besides investing in US market to park your money, cash flow is critical to many of these small investors as they depend upon the income from the property for financing expenses in US.
