A Barclays Wealth survey shows wealthy individuals are giving over more of their portfolios to real estate. Undoubtedly, real estate is an attractive bet for both sophisticated and novice investors in 2010.

However, you should proceed with caution – many markets have further to fall – and investors tempted to bottom fish risk getting stuck with properties they can’t flip.
