Apartment Property Management
Apartment property management is the responsibility of a property manager who manages day-to-day operations of an apartment building. Apartment property management includes ensuring that the property is safe and properly maintained, includes inspection of grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine whether repairs or maintenance is needed.
Apartment property management includes meeting with current tenants to handle requests for repairs or resolution of any complaints. Another responsibility of apartment property management is to meet with prospective residents or tenants to show vacant apartments. It also includes enforcement of the terms of rental or lease contracts, such as rent collection, parking and pet restrictions, and termination of lease procedures.
Apartment property management includes keeping accurate, up-to-date records of income and expenses from apartment operations and submitting regular expense reports to the owner or senior property manager.
